We are having a hand-turkey contest! \nSubmit a photo of your child’s hand-turkey craft to our social media page(s) by November 30th for your chance to win!  \nEnter to win a $25 gift certificate to American Science & Surplus\, a DIY snap circuit project\, a DIY solar system diorama\, and more! American Science & Surplus is our neighbor with amazing educational toys that spark curiosity and creativity. Together\, we want to improve your child’s development and inspire him or her to be lifelong learners! \nHow to enter: \n\nTrace your hand and get started on your turkey-hand craft!\nUpload your picture of your craft on one of our social media pages anytime during November:\n\nFacebook: Comment on our post about the contest by sharing your picture!\nOR Instagram: Share it as a post on your feed and tag assential_therapies so we are notified of your entry!\n\n\n\nWe will select and announce the winner on November 30th. SUMMARY:Social Skills Therapy Group Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Ages 3-5 \nTuesdays\, 1-2 PM \nSession 1: Nov 7-Dec 12 \nWe are excited to offer this 6-week therapy group led by a speech-language pathologist in our Park Ridge clinic for $300! That’s $45 per session with a $30 registration fee. Plus\, the potential friendships could be priceless! \nWhether you sign up for Session 1\, Session 2\, or both\, this group will consistently build on your child’s social skills every Tuesday afternoon at our clinic! \nBased on the Social Thinking Curriculum\, this group targets social language difficulties related but not limited to developmental delay\, speech delay\, pragmatic language disorder\, sensory processing disorders\, social skills deficits\, ADHD\, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Therapy groups mimic real-life scenarios where children play\, share\, and socialize with each other. Together\, this small group of kids will focus on making introductions\, initiating conversations\, taking turns in speaking\, and maintaining topics. Led by a speech-language pathologist\, our experienced staff work with children who are experiencing social language difficulties for a variety of reasons. \nCurrent patients: Please register at the front desk.
