Emily has experience working with pediatric clients presenting with phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, AAC needs, and feeding challenges. She is passionate about supporting multimodal communication and helping children build confidence in expressing their wants, needs, and ideas. In feeding therapy, she focuses on creating positive mealtime experiences while supporting oral motor development and safe, functional eating skills.
Her therapy style is rooted in connection and engagement. Emily believes children learn best through meaningful, motivating activities and incorporates child-led play, language expansion strategies, and collaborative caregiver education to promote carryover across settings.
Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys thrifting, crafting, trying new matcha spots, and working out!
