  • Milliena has experience working with pediatric clients presenting with speech sound disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, social communication support and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support needs. Her passion is to ensure that every child has access to communication and the ability to express their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings; as every child deserves the opportunity to communicate in a way that is meaningful to them. Milliena believes children learn best through functional activities embedded within their everyday routines/play as these experiences support the development of their comprehension and communication skills in meaningful, real-life contexts. She also enjoys coaching and working with parents to support their child’s development in speech and language skills.

Outside of the clinic, Milliena enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and enjoying nature-related activities.
